I was running fast; so fast so he couldn’t catch me. As I turned around, he tackled me to the floor. I had lost. I was breathing so heavily. My face turned to his and a smile appeared on both our faces. “You’re just too fast for me” I said whispering in his ear. Zayn put his hands on my cheek then brought me close to kiss my lips. “What can I say?” He replied laughing then shrugging his shoulders. I smiled then pulled him to the floor, and pinned him down towards the freshly cut grass. He laid there staring into my eyes. He put a strang of my hair behind my ear then pressed his lips on mine once again. I pulled him up then walked hand in hand towards the playground.
“Go on” He said helping me up on the swing. As I sat on it, he started pushing me up in the air. I could feel my hair messing up due to the wind. “Go on the one next to me!” I yelled as I tilted my head back and took a whoosh of the fresh air. He just sat there staring at me, like he would never want to lose me.
“Watch watch” I said slowing down then taking a massive jump. As I landed on my feet, he stood up and clapped. I laughed as I bowed then hugged his waist. He then picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, hitting my behind continuously. I started squirming, then stopped moving as I realised someone approaching me. “Zayn stop” I froze and tried to escape from his tight embrace.
He didn’t catch what I was saying, as he continued to run down the hill. “ZAYN” I yelled. He stopped then put me down in a confused emotion. I wiped my clothes then walked past him to reach to her. “You know I hate it when you’re with him” She said pulling my arm away towards the car. “MUM LEAVE ME ALONE HE’S PERFECTLY FINE!” I yelled ripping my arm away. This wasn’t going to happen once again.
“Get in” She demanded pointing to the car. I looked over to Zayn who was standing there in complete sadness. I could see that he felt extremely guilty. As a tear fell down my cheek, I sat in the back seat and decided to cop the statements I was about to be given. Before we took off, I looked over to him one more time and noticed him crouching on the floor. Once again, my mother had ruined one of the best moments of my life; seeing as the other times I’m being grounded in my room.
“I TOLD YOU. I TOLD YOU PLENTY OF TIMES NOT TO HANG AROUND THAT BASTARD” She yelled fixing her mirror to face me. “DONT CALL HIM THAT!” I argued back. He’s never done anything wrong to me, maybe she just hates it how I have a better life to what she ever did.
“We’re moving.” She said as she turned the volume down. My body froze. “Excuse me?”
“Tonight, you and I are going to live with your grandparents.” “But that’s overseas!?” I said yelling and smashing my hand against the window. She would literally do anything for me not to live a normal life. “Exactly. We’re leaving tonight. I’ve packed your things.” She finally announced pulling into the driveway. “I’m sick of how you never listen to me anymore.”
“WHY ARE YOU SUCH A BITCH?” I yelled slamming the car door and running into my room. I could tell she didn’t give two shits. I slammed the door then leaned up against it, crying. I didn’t get to say goodbye to him.
We were at the airport, and I was following my mother wheeling my luggage. Good bye home. I was crying the whole way through, and people were looking at me weirdly. As soon as we were getting checked through security, my body froze. My legs went numb. I had to escape. As my mum was being checked, I dropped my luggage and ran.
I could faintly hear her yelling in the background. I couldn’t see where I was going, my eyes were covered in tears. I fell over my own feet, and she caught up. She grabbed my wrist but with my force, I pushed her away then sprinted again.
I could see a taxi up ahead, so as fast as I could, I ran in and told him to go straight to the studio, where Zayn and the boys were rehearsing. As he drove away, I turned around seeing my mum standing there, all by herself. She could finally get what she always wanted. To be alone.
As soon as I arrived, I ran straight to the back entrance, ignoring the fans around me. I saw Zayn, but in an unfamiliar way. “Z-Zayn?” I said, stuttering on my words. He quickly pulled his arms away from a blonde hair girl then turned around and noticed me, standing there like a loser. “I run away from the airport to come stay with you and I see this?” I said stepping back slowly and getting teary, once again. As soon as his mouth opened, I turned away and ran. Good one, I did another stupid mistake.
“WAIT BABE DONT GO! LET ME EXPLAIN!” He yelled pushing the girl away from him then running after me. “You’ve done enough explaining” I said walking through the side gate, away from the fans. He ran after me, locking the gate behind him. The security was yelling at him to get back, but he ignored them. “LET ME EXPLAIN!” He yelled grabbing my wrist, the one with the bracelet that he bought me. I turned around with my eyes bright red. Now I could feel my body about to collapse. All these emotions rushing around, I couldn’t cope. To make matter worse, I couldn’t hear him, not over all the fans that were screaming close by.
He pulled me into the corner away from everyone, then held my hand. Part of me was telling me to let go, the other part was telling me to let him explain. “Please, that was nothing. I love you, you know I do. You’re mine. I’m yours. I would never do something like that to you.”
It was quiet.
“But the gi-“. “She’s nothing. Don’t worry about her. I don’t love her, I love you. I just did some stupid mistake. I’m an idiot. Do whatever you want to me, but please forgive me.” He said walking closer to me. I looked up into his eyes. I could see he was truly sorry. They started to water. “Don’t cry” I said getting teary as well followed by a giggle. “I don’t want to lose you” He added laughing then wiping his tear. I got my thumb then rubbed his tears away.
I laughed as I put my arms around his waist. He kissed my forehead then did the same. “I love you.” He said smiling. I smiled then dug my head in his chest, with the aroma of his Gucci cologne approaching my nostrils.
I looked up, noticing a plane flying above us in the dark sky. He looked up too, and then looked straight into my eyes with a serious face. “You ran away? Why!” He added pulling me away and holding my shoulders. “To be with you” I mumbled looking down and smiling. He laughed then pulled me in for a hug once more. “Stay with me for as long as you want baby” He said smiling and kissing my lips.
